3 Tips to Build Trust With Your Audience on Social Media
Why is it so important that your audience trusts you? Well think about it this way, if you’re buying a new product from a brand you’ve never heard of, would you read the reviews first? When we purchase a product or a service, it’s because we’ve built some form of trust to invest our money and we know that we’ll get the benefits of what we paid for.
The same is true for our business. Your audience must trust you if you want them to buy from you. You want your ideal client to think of YOU when they’re ready to invest in your services.
Deliver valuable content. Your content should be focused on solving your ideal client’s problem. If you don’t know your ideal client’s problem, then it’s time to do market research. There are several ways to do this. You could ask an ideal client to complete a survey, create a poll in your Instagram stories, or have a market research call where you ask your ideal client if they could do a quick 15 minute call to know what they’re struggling with in their business. Remember, your content is not about you, but it’s about what your audience wants to hear from you.
Engage with your audience. Social media means being social. Even if you don’t show up on stories everyday or are trying to keep up with posting on your feed, your goal should be to engage with your audience every day.

3. Share the behind the scenes of your business. When people get to see what you’re working on or how you work behind your business, the more they connect with you as a person which means, the more they will trust you.
Here are some ways you can share behind the scenes:
Share what you’re doing for the day. People love seeing what other people are up to.
Have your audience follow you from the time you wake up, your tasks for that day
Share anything exciting that’s happening and then share how you unwind at the end of the day.
Share any projects you’re currently working on.
Share something you love to do outside of your business.
