6 Tips to Optimize your Profile on Instagram
There are some key things to remember if you’re using Instagram to increase your business and attract ideal clients. Here are 6 simple tips you can implement TODAY to get more views on your Instagram feed and attract your ideal client.
Your Name is searchable. Make sure you include keywords that your ideal clients are looking for so that your account pops up in the search. You only have 30 characters so use this space wisely. When you send a DM, your name appears in their inbox, so I suggest including your first name.
Profile photo. Your profile photo is the first thing people see when they see your account. You should look presentable and it should be on brand. People want to see YOU instead of your logo. (Unless you have a brand then it’s totally ok to use a logo as your profile pic.)
Your Bio. This should show others what you do, who you help and the transformation that you bring your clients. You want your ideal clients to read your bio and want to follow you!
Website link. You want to include a CTA (call-to-action) in your profile to direct your followers to your email list, facebook group or to book a call. This is how you can convert your ideal client and take the next step in working with you.
Highlights. Your highlight covers should be branded. If you do include text on your highlight covers, make sure that they are large enough to read. Your highlights are a compilation of Instagram stories of what you want your audience to refer back to. These should be value packed and brand building.
I suggest updating your profile every 1-2 months if you’re not seeing any results or if you notice that your ideal clients are not following you. It’s all about testing to see what will attract your ideal client.
