Why You Need Goals for Instagram to Grow Your Audience
Without clear goals, it’s hard to measure if your Instagram strategy is working. Goals give you metrics to measure your progress and helps you stay accountable.
Make sure you follow the SMART framework:
Specific.
Measurable.
Achievable.
Realistic.
Time Sensitive.
Here are 3 goals you can set for yourself to grow your business on Instagram:
1) Grow your audience. If you want to grow your audience, make sure you’re connecting with NEW accounts daily. For example, your goal can be to connect with 10 NEW accounts 5 days a week.
2) Turn your audience into paying clients. If your goal is to convert your audience into clients, you may need to have more conversations in the DM’s. Remember, it takes time to build your trust so that people are ready to invest in you. Be patient!
3) Nurture your audience. Especially if you're not promoting anything, stay active on Instagram by continuing to engage with your followers. This is important so that when you are ready to promote your next offer, you have already built a community who knows you and trusts you.
