It takes a lot of work to start your own business and entrepreneurs need assistants. Entrepreneurs are always looking for people to outsource to, so they grow and scale their business. Not sure what type of services to offer?

First, make a list of tasks you enjoy doing? Are you the creative type that loves graphic design? Or are you the detailed type that loves organization and analyzing data? Knowing your strengths will help you decide what type of services you want to offer. The last thing you want to do is to create a business doing things you don’t love.

Here is a list of services you can offer as a Virtual Assistant:

• Inbox Management. Busy entrepreneurs can receive hundreds of emails a day and because of their busy schedules, they may miss the important emails that need a response. Help clients keep their inbox organized and let them know which emails are urgent and need a response.

• Email Marketing. There is a lot that goes into email marketing. It’s more than just sending emails, but there are opt-in forms, and email sequences and tags and forms, etc. If you love details, workflow and strategy, this may be a service you may want to offer.

• Social Media Management. Managing a social media account is more than just posting. When you offer social media management, you’re helping your client create a strategy so they can grow their audience and convert them into customers. Many entrepreneurs don’t love social media, but they know it’s necessary to grow their business. Which is why social media management is a great service to offer since entrepreneurs typically don’t have time for this.

• Copywriting. Let’s face it. Not everyone are great writers, (me included!). If you love writing blogs, short stories, emails, website copy, etc. this might be a service you want to offer. I know Virtual Assistant’s who only offer copywriting services and they are doing great! If you’re passionate about writing, then why not get paid for it right?

• Pinterest Management. If you love Pinterest, then this may be the service you want to offer. Entrepreneur’s may not understand Pinterest, but they know it’s a great lead source, so they hire Pinterest managers to help them create a Pinterest strategy. If you’re a visual person and you love analyzing data, this may be the perfect service to offer.

If you need help getting started, there are so many places you can find courses to help you learn about starting a Virtual Assistant business. Facebook Groups is another great resource to get support from other Virtual Assistant’s who are starting their business, just like you.
