2 Most Common Objections to Hiring a VA

March.PNG

There are a few objections that I get from potential clients:

Objection #1) They feel overwhelmed and the know they need to outsource, but they’re not sure what.

Objection #2) They’re afraid of letting go and losing control of their work, but they know they need help.

Do any of these objections sound like you?

Here are a couple of steps you can take to help you feel comfortable working with a VA:

If you relate to objection #1 and you don’t know what tasks to delegate, start by writing down all the tasks you do daily or weekly for your business. Then, circle the tasks that you don’t enjoy doing…those tasks that you always save for the end of the week because you dread it. These are the tasks that you should delegate to a VA. Think of it this way, there are VA’s out there that actually love doing the tasks that you hate. And just think of the relief that you’ll feel when these tasks are off your plate and you didn’t even have to lift a finger.

If you relate to objection #2 and you’re afraid of letting go of parts of your business, that’s totally normal! This is your baby, this is YOUR business that you have built so of course it’s hard to feel like you’ll be losing control.

This is the assurance I give to my potential clients:

1)     You don’t have to delegate all your tasks at once. Start delegating small tasks until you feel comfortable adding more to their plate.

2)     Video record your tasks. I love when clients video records the way they want a task to be done. There’s less chance of error and you know that it’s getting done exactly the way you want.
