4 Free Tools to Organize Your Business
It is so important to be organized when you start your business. You want to make sure you’re setting up a strong foundation so as your business continues to grow, you won’t waste any time trying to remember tasks or looking for old documents. Staying organized will help increase productivity and will make it easier to grow a team.
Here are my favorite tools I use in my business and the best part is…it’s all free!
Trello - This is the most common tool most fempreneuers start using when they start their business. It’s user-friendly and it will you keep your business tasks and client tasks organized. Here’s a quick tutorial: https://help.trello.com/article/899-getting-started-video-demo
Toggl - This is my favorite tool to use for time tracking. Not only can you assign tasks to clients and projects, but you can create time reports so you know exactly where you’re spending your time.
Loom - This tool is for recording your screen. Why would you want to record your screen? It’s a good practice to record how you complete certain tasks so that 1) you can refer to it in the future and 2) you can share this with a future team member. I don’t know what I would do without Loom. I love when my clients record how they complete tasks. There’s less chance for error and it gives them more confidence that tasks are being done the way they want it to be done.
Google Drive or Dropbox - Having an online drive is helpful so you have access to docs even when you’re away from your computer. It also makes it easy to share folders and files with your team or your clients.
